We observed 25 cases of neonatal pneumothorax who were admitted to the department of pediatrics, Ewha Womans University Hospital from January, 1981 to September, 1983. A case of Morgagni hernia in 3day old newborn is reported with literature review. The patient developed tachypnea and respiratory difficulty on 3rd day of life and the diagnosis was made by diagnostic pneumoperitoneum.
